StarComm 33.6Kbps models provide a complete implementation of the ITU-T V.34 standard for 33.6Kbps operation and our 14.4Kbps models comply with the, ITU-T V.32bis standard for 14.4Kbps operation. In addition, all models offer complete compatibility With older standards such as V.32 and V.22bis.

StarComm high-speed modems offer the features required for compatibility with a wide range of industry standard systems and software.

V.34 (33.6kbps) Data/Fax Modems – All models offer an AT compatible command interface and support the following modulation standards:  V.34, V.32bis, V.32, V.22bis, V.22, V.23, V.21, Bell 212A and Bell 103J.  The following modulation standards are supported for fax:  V.33, V.29 and V.27.  Both synchronous and asynchronous DTE are supported.
